Careers Fest 23 kicks off with a welcome talk featuring guest speakers and Graduate Futures. Here you'll discover how to make the most of the event. You’ll also take part in some fun activities to kick start the day. There will also be FREE teas, coffees and pastries upon arrival in our chill-out zone.
How can you look for a job when you don’t know what you want to do? The first step to finding a job that fits is to discover your personal priorities and strengths. This session will give you the tools and techniques you need to work out what you want and to identify the job roles that suit you.
Your CV is often the first chance to make a good impression with an employer, but how do you create a winning CV that sets you apart from the competition? Join our interactive session and discover the essential tools and strategies to craft a stand-out CV that catches the eye of recruiters.
Learn how to showcase your best self and make a lasting impression on employers! Discover how marketers promote themselves, how to create a pitch using our pitch tool and get the chance to pitch to others! If you want to improve your confidence or even discover your X-Factor, this session is for you!
Build your superpower for career confidence and success in this interactive session. We'll get you thinking about your career wellbeing, change and resilience and give you ‘super power’ tips to help build your confidence to progress your career goals and thrive! No cape required!

Our lunch-time chillout area will have a range of fun and engaging careers content. From interesting quizzes, VR and Metaverse stations and even the chance to learn about our unique support tools, you can grab a bite to eat and learn more about the ways we can help to enhance your career-readiness.
Need a CV check or want to talk to our support staff? Our Wellbeing, International and our Graduate Futures staff will also be on hand to talk to in our lunch-time chillout area.
